Web Design in North Hollywood, CA

CateNET designs custom websites for NoHo theaters, studios, photographers, and small creative shops that already have a look in the real world and almost none of it on the web. The Arts District rewards personality. A beige multi-purpose theme punishes it. Custom web design and UI/UX should feel like the work: type that has a point of view, photography that is actually yours, color that is not a default indigo. We prototype in Figma so a director or a teacher can tap through a booking or a portfolio before we write code. Then we build it in house. No page builders. No marketplace theme with a theater plugin taped on.

Bold does not mean unreadable. Conversion focused layouts still have to sell a class, a ticket, or a session. Responsive design has to work outside the theater when the lobby wifi is a rumor. Logo design and brand identity often start from a flyer that has been photocopied for ten years. We respect that history instead of replacing it with a generic wordmark. A small design system keeps show pages and class calendars from inventing a new aesthetic every weekend. Lankershim shops often share one person who runs the door and the Instagram. The site has to be something they can live with, not a museum piece.

We work from 15303 Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, about ten minutes from the Arts District. CateNET designs and builds everything in house so design and development never conflict.
